Students of ICFAI go to other colleges. Students of ICFAI go for fests.Students of ICFAI Participate in events. Students of ICFAI wanted to have there own fest!!!!
That’s where the drama starts or shall we say ends. We planned for a decent fest with the usual events and expected rituals. Initial talk was successful with our princi and some higher ups.
The budget was nothing extravagant and was quite economical. But eventually ICFAI was into skitsophranic state confusing us with MBAs again. We were supposed to get sponsors skipping our third semester classes to sponsor the whole God D&*^ fest as if the fest is some whims and fancy of the students (equals to celebrating ones b’day or buying a cola) and has nothing to do with the college and the brand. So ICFAI students postponed the fest indefinitely for money (or the lack of it) reasons.
Solidarity to my classmates and Apology to all my friends who knew about the fest and were looking forward to it. Unbelievable, believe it!

You know my english teacher had a sudden fit of sending mails to magazins and papers.
I subscribe to Outlook myself not because its the best but probably the best in 15 bucks. Anyway she came up with this topic of people commiting suicides, most of them girls. i thought she has a real concern towards us keeping in mind she had two teenaged daughters. Now the letter to editorial is not that bad specially with some of my valuable inputs. it goes like this:
Spate of suicides!
In the month of March several suicides are reported. Most of these steams from academic pressures. This reflects poorly on our education system. The prime aim of education is to build life skills and instill confidence in young minds, to make them strong and set them free, to win over the world and not escaping the game-of-life midway. It is disheartening when young lives are quashed on account of stress. To free society from this type of stress it would indeed be worthy to educate the parent. After all parenting is a full time job. The emotional quotient of every individual has to be cultivated from a very young age so that young minds will look forward to face the challenges of life rather than terminating life. The secret for doing so would be to start communication.
I must admit that its sounds motherly but what the heck, she didnot spare the parents.

As per starting convention I am a bengali moving round India, well not perticularly in search of anything (Don't think me as a Bonhemiean type) as I was pretty confused about 'LIFE' most of the time!
I saw life, that is the good and bad of it and mixed with a lot of people all around.
What i found out would not fit in this ready made blog!
